She Said Yes

One of my good friends proposed to his girlfriend this weekend and I felt so lucky to be there and be the photographer for the whole thing. She thought he just wanted me to get a picture of them on the steps of the Nauvoo Temple. :)

These were all taken the day of while we toured Nauvoo and walked around.

Family (Part One)

This week I was able to take my own family’s portraits during our family reunion. Here were some of my favorite’s of the weekend, before the formal pictures were taken. We spent the first day at the lake, there were a lot of kids around!

This was one of the friends photoshoots I did recently. I really like doing the best friends photoshoots, they are so fun! It started raining so we changed plans and shot anyways!

The 6th of July

You’re in Georgia Now

So today I was out shopping for mayonnaise to make potato salad and decided to treat myself because I just got my wisdom teeth out last week and they took the packing out this morning (yay!). Well what did I come upon in the bakery but this:

The most beautiful magnolia styled cupcake. It is HUGE too. Only in Georgia would you be able to find these goodies for just $3 at the grocery store.

I love Georgia, all of you need to come experience the loveliness here and I will buy you a giant flower cupcake.
